Some food highlights off the beaten tourist path of burgers and chicken sandwiches:

Teresa at the rotisserie pork stand

Rotisserie pork. Slabs of marinated pork belly rotating over hot coals sold right in the middle of the street. Unctuous, moist, delicious.


Sweet and savory little spherical fritters. With the consistency of fried Cream of Wheat. Or maybe moist fried polenta. Made with coconut oil & milk, condensed milk, sesame and scallion.

En route to more food

"Super High Pizza Strong." Aka "Happy Pizza". Sold right on the menu next to dog meat and chicken sandwiches.
